2026 - 2027 Season Overview

Below is an overview of the 2026–2027 35 Select season, including training structure, events, travel expectations, fees, and player evaluation details.

Season Dates
Mid‑November 2026 through Mid‑May 2027


Season Structure


Players can expect a comprehensive, development‑focused season that includes approximately
40 training sessions, 2–3 winter games (age‑dependent), and 4–5 tournaments or showcases throughout the year.

Most teams will travel for 2–3 events, including 1–2 flight‑distance trips.

Older age groups will also participate in a College Info Night (U15+) and a College ID Camp (U16+).

Training will take place at Shattuck‑St. Mary’s, Spring Creek Soccer Fields, Webster Soccer Fields, and additional regional facilities as needed.

Teams will be formed by single age group whenever possible, though some age groups may be combined depending on player numbers.

35 Select offers an elite developmental pathway for players who want to elevate their game while staying connected to their home club. The program focuses on preparing athletes for high school varsity and collegiate soccer, providing access to top regional talent, a structured club curriculum, and experienced coaches, technical trainers, and goalkeeper staff.

Families may pay in full or use a payment plan, and there are
no hidden fees.

Commitment/Admin Fee: $280 (due 8/16)

Team Operations Fee:
$1,450 (due 9/1)
—or— Monthly Plan:
$322/month (Sept 2026–Jan 2027)

Uniform Package (new players):
approx. $270

Training Kit (returning players):
approx. $70
35 Select will cover all PlayMetrics processing fees next season.


What the Admin Fee Supports


Administrative and marketing staff, PlayMetrics, player registration, MYSA event roster support, and website operations.


What the Team Operations Fee Supports


College ID Camp (new), College Info Night (new), coaching staff and Executive Director, goalkeeper and technical trainers, team managers, event fees, coach travel, dome rental for practices and games, referee fees, staff apparel, and coaching equipment.


Birth Year Changes for 2026–27


USYS, AYSO, and US Club Soccer will shift to a new seasonal age‑group calendar running August 1 – July 31 beginning next season.


This change will influence how teams are formed, especially for groups that previously spanned multiple birth years.

Evaluation Process

  • Formal tryouts are being removed.
  • Players will now be evaluated during the 35 Select Summer Camp.
  • If a player cannot attend camp, they should complete the Player Interest Form. Priority consideration will be given to athletes who attend camp and/or participated in 35 Select last season.
